Cookie policy

Last updated: 2026-08-26

This is a courtesy translation. The Italian version remains the legally binding one: in the event of any discrepancy, the Italian text prevails.

This website installs a single, technical cookie, which is used to remember the language you have chosen. It does not use analytics, statistical, profiling or advertising cookies, nor any third-party cookies: for this reason there is no consent banner. Visit statistics are collected without cookies, in aggregate and anonymous form, as described below.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that the website you visit saves in your browser. They hold basic information about your browsing session and are read again by the browser on subsequent visits, for example so that you do not have to enter the same information over and over. Some cookies are necessary for the website to work, others are used to measure visits or to personalise advertising: the latter require the user's consent and are not used on this website.

  • i18n_redirected - first-party technical cookie, installed by the website itself. It records the language the website is served in (Italian or English), so that on subsequent visits you find the language you chose without being redirected. Duration: 1 year. Content: the language code only (it or en).

The cookie contains no identifying data, is not communicated to third parties and does not make it possible to profile the user or to reconstruct their browsing behaviour. As a technical cookie, it does not require prior consent under Article 122 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003. Disabling it does not prevent you from using the website: it only means that your language choice will not be remembered.

To understand how many people visit the website and which pages they read, we use Umami, a statistics tool that works without cookies and without equivalent technologies: it stores nothing in the user's browser. The data collected is aggregate and anonymous (page visited, browser and device type, country of origin): the IP address is not retained and there is no identifier that makes it possible to recognise or follow an individual visitor, either within the website or across different websites. The tool runs on Maxfone's own infrastructure: no browsing data is communicated to third parties. Given these characteristics, the measurement requires no prior consent and involves no banner.

What this website does not do

  • no analytics or statistical cookies: visits are measured without cookies, with the tool described above;
  • no profiling or advertising cookies, and no third-party cookies;
  • no resources loaded from third-party domains: fonts and images are served by the website itself and statistics by Maxfone's infrastructure, so no third party receives data about your browsing. The videos mentioned in articles are external links: they open on YouTube, where that website's terms and cookies apply;
  • no tracking through technologies equivalent to cookies, such as local storage in the browser or fingerprinting.

Should measurement or third-party cookies be introduced in future, this policy will be updated before they are activated and, where the law requires it, consent will be collected in advance.

How to manage cookies from your browser

Every browser lets you view, delete and block cookies from its own settings, usually in the Privacy section. Vendors update their support pages from time to time, so we recommend always checking the instructions for the browser you are using.
