Support starts with a phone call
You hear about the fault from the customer, when the machine is already down. You leave in a hurry, without knowing what to bring, and the trip ends up in an argument.
Do you build, distribute or rent out devices? Connecting them gives you after-sales you can see before the phone rings, and a service to sell on top of the machine. It pays off for you and for your customer.
What you can't see of your installed base
The product leaves the shop floor and drops off the radar. Whatever happens next, you find out when the customer calls.
You hear about the fault from the customer, when the machine is already down. You leave in a hurry, without knowing what to bring, and the trip ends up in an argument.
The periodic service depends on somebody remembering it. If nobody does, it does not happen: no service for the customer, no revenue for you.
Real hours, cycles, loads, working conditions. Without numbers, you design the next model on the impressions you collected at a trade fair.
For you who sell and for your customer
A device that sends its data changes what after-sales means: you know how the machines you sold are doing, you step in before they stop, and support turns from a cost centre into a service you sell, renew and invoice.
Your customer buys a product with nothing to worry about: somebody watches their devices for them, maintenance arrives when it is actually needed and downtime is shorter. It is not a service they have to chase, it is part of why they chose you.
It is one story read from both sides: what keeps your customer with you is exactly what brings you recurring revenue.
You do not need to reinvent your offering: these are things you already do, done with the data in front of you instead of blind. IDA makes them possible across the whole installed base, customer by customer.
In the demo we look at it on one of your real devices: what data it exposes, what can be read from it, what service you can build on top.
From one machine to the whole fleet
IDA is multi-customer by design: all your customers, each with their own devices, inside a single application.
Each customer sees their own devices and nothing else. You see the whole installed base, filtered by customer, by site or by model.
Your devices are identical to each other: the readings are set up once on the model and repeat unchanged on every unit that ships.
Every delivery adds a device to the monitored base. No project to redo: it is the same configuration, multiplied.
The IDA subscription grows with the connected base, which means it grows with your business: every device you add is first of all recurring revenue of yours. The cost follows the growth, it does not come before it.
Real categories, names withheld
Installed bases we follow today, described by type: the names will follow once those customers allow us to use them.
Batteries installed in customer warehouses, on forklifts running all day: charge cycles and state of health reach the manufacturer, who knows which battery to look after before the forklift stops.
Compressors spread across many different plants: running hours and power draw drive the services, which start from the data instead of a calendar kept in someone's head.
Handling vehicles working continuous shifts: real usage says when to step in, and replacement gets scheduled instead of happening with the vehicle already stopped.
A demo on a device you actually build: what can be read, what you can see, what service you can build on top.
